This September, our team will be attending VIB Belgium’s The Leuven Protein Aggregation Meeting (ProAgg26) to connect with other scientific and industry experts and present insights in our differentiated detangler approach aiming to inhibit and reverse disease-specific protein aggregation.

Our colleagues Dr. Alla Tripailo, Scientist, and Bettina Kass, Scientist, will be presenting two posters covering how our orally available all-D-peptide compounds aim to target the underlying biology of neurodegenerative disorders and beyond.

Details of the poster presentations:

  • Title: Development of compounds targeting medin aggregation
  • Presenter: Dr. Alla Tripailo

  • Title: Development of therapeutic all-D-peptide compounds targeting islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) as a disease-modifying treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)
  • Presenter: Bettina Kass

If you are attending ProAgg26 and would like to learn more about Priavoid’s work, please feel free to get in touch via media@priavoid.com to arrange a meeting.

About Priavoid

Priavoid’s novel class of orally available all-D-peptide therapeutics detangle neurotoxic oligomer species to inhibit and reverse disease-specific protein aggregation in neurodegenerative disorders. We aim to establish clinical proof-of-concept through our lead program, PRI-002, which will complete a Phase 2 trial in Alzheimer’s disease in 2026. Priavoid has built a focused pipeline of detangler compounds that are non-immunogenic and reach their oligomer targets in the brain and inside the affected cells. Our goal is to develop disease-modifying therapies that address the underlying biology of neurodegeneration and drive meaningful clinical benefit for patients.
